Be The N.E.S.T.

Be Neighborly. Stay Engaged. Be Scholarly. Use Teamwork.
Global Citizens. Critical Thinkers. Excellent Academics. Collaborative Problem Solvers.

Who We Are

We are a Arts-Based neighborhood school located in Chicago's Near North neighborhood with a commitment to global citizenship, critical thinking, excellent academics, and collaborative problem solving.

On average, Jenner Academy of the Arts students receive Arts-based instruction 4 days a week.

Jenner offers Performing Arts Programs along with its core curriculum. Students can take classes in visual arts, dance, drama, music, and band. We feature a computer and science lab, media center, and Internet-connected classrooms. Our partners include Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Fourth Presbyterian and Park Churches, Sinai Congregation, Quaker, Common Threads, By The Hand, WITS, Groupon, Orbert Davis' Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, Dynamic Force Dance, Urban Initiative, Blessings In a Backpack, Near North Unity Program (NNUP) and NLU.

We strive to Be the N.E.S.T. each and every day. Be Neighborly. Stay Engaged. Be Scholarly. Use Teamwork.
Through deep community ties and invested parents, our students and teachers are making strides to defy the odds as "outliers" committed to social-emotional wellness and academic vigor.
Why Jenner Academy of the Arts.

Teaching and learning is a reciprocal experience rooted in a deep trust between student and teacher.
